You will need to know what traffic the plastic strip door will be subjected to, and its primary purpose i.e. Sound Barrier, Temperature Isolation, Hygiene, Safety, Accessibility, Environmental Isolation.

Strip Door Installation

Installation is quick and simple as they can be secured with self tapping or self drilling screws, rivets or bolts, allowing most installations to be completed within minutes.

Heavy Duty Clear PVC Plastic Strip Doors for motorized fork lift traffic etc are supplied in kit form for freight and installation convenience as the head section can be mounted before securing the Plastic Strips. Plastic Strip Doors supplied like this have the strips cut to length and hole punched. A 10mm spanner is the only tool required to fix the PVC Strips to the Strip Door head section.

Plastic PVC Strip Door Construction

We use a variety of different methods to secure our plastic strips to the head section depending on the size and weight of the strip door, and the available securing method.

For most applications we supply our exclusive aluminium head section which allows the plastic strip door to be Lintel or Wall mounted. Our Strip Door aluminium extrusion accomodates a 6 x 16mm (hex head) set screw. Then the PVC strips are hole punched and secured with large washers and nuts to the head section.

For Heavy Duty PVC Strip Door applications such as commercial and industrial factories, mounting the PVC Strip Door below the existing roller door (Bulk Head) can be achieved by using a steel RHS box section suspended accross two side mounting plates secured onto the wall surface either side of the opening.

  • Wall Mounted Strip Doors

In most applications for Strip Doors to be wall mounted we increase the width slightly for sealing benifits and add 50mm to the height for securing of the head section, resulting in a 10mm floor clearance. Please provide the Strip Door finish size or the clear opening in our Strip Door Form.

  • Lintel Mounted Strip Doors

When there is no vertical wall face above the opening for the strip door, Lintel mounting could be the only solution. We require clear opening measurements only and we will manufacture the PVC Door to fit within the opening.

  • Sliding Strip Doors

All Clear Plastic Strip Doors manufactured, then rolled up and packaged for protection in transit.
We can arrange freight to any location in Australia including export terminals.

Heavy Duty Clear PVC Plastic Strip Doors for motorized fork lift traffic etc are supplied in kit form. The Clear PVC Strips are cut and hole punched, and supplied on a roll. The aluminium or steel head section is secured to a length of wood or similar if required.

We ensure all our clear plastic strip doors are packaged well for transit, and we use an online tracking system to ensure all PVC strip doors reach there destinitation.
